ABOUT THE GREY OWLS

Who? The Grey Owls are an original Americana band from San Diego who may be older and wiser, but no less passionate about creating meaningful music, with songs that tell a story, paint a picture, take you to another place, like only good music can do. With elements of folk, country, blues, indie rock, and world music creeping in from all angles, the Grey Owls are making music for themselves, and they hope you come along for the ride.

Lead by longtime San Diego singer/songwriter Jaimie Muehlhausen (vocals, guitar), Hannes Kling (keyboards), and “Banker John” McKeekan (bass guitar), the band unapologetically brings more experience to the stage than most, while never living in the past and continuing to evolve and create new music.

The Grey Owls are of that great west coast Americana tradition, with timeless music that spans genres and generations.
